Troy Stovall brings more than 25 years of experience across investment management, higher education, telecommunications, information and communication technology, and management consulting. He is CEO of TEDCO, Maryland's economic engine for technology companies, where he leads the organization's mission to support economic development through an inclusive entrepreneurial innovation ecosystem.

Prior to TEDCO he was chief operating officer at the University of the District of Columbia, the nation's only urban land-grant university, encompassing a six-site community college, a four-year baccalaureate campus, and a law school serving 7,000 students. He oversaw capital construction, communications, emergency management, enrollment services, facilities, government relations, information management, institutional research, marketing, public safety, risk management, and strategic planning.
