At a campus level Bill enjoyed leadership roles in Admissions, Academics, and Student Services and as a campus president.  Among his achievements was the creation of community college partnerships which led to 225% increase in transfer enrollments; the launching of new undergraduate and graduate academic programs; outstanding  student retention result for a start-up campus; strong student satisfaction (as measured by the Noel Levitz SSI instrument) and executive facilities management that included remodeling  and new construction projects.  He wrote the business plans and financial pro- forma statements for a new campus start-up and two local center expansions.   At the campus level Bill is recognized for building student-centric teams.  As a residence hall director, Bill’s team won a regional award for providing a campus service to protect women against sexual assault.

At a system level Bill worked with over 90 campus locations and the online division.  He led a team that evaluated, selected and negotiated for both a new Student Information System (SIS) and a Constituent Relations Management System (CRM).  Upon selection the team and the SIS and CRM system developers worked on more than 200 business process improvements to reduce costs or improve systems.  Bill has the business executive leader for the implementation.  He created the change management strategy and managed the system training for the new systems.  Through this process we were able to use portal, CRM and telephony technology to offer students more choices for both self-service and staff assisted service.  As National Director for Student Services he was responsible for maintaining federal compliance and training in the areas ADA and Title IX. He also created turn-key student engagement and retention activities.
