Eric Mittlestead is the Associate Vice Chancellor of Construction and Facilities Planning at Kern Community College District. Eric is also the Statewide Trainer for the FUSION database which is the system that manages Capital Outlay, Space Inventory, Scheduled Maintenance and Hazardous Substance Programs for the California Community Colleges. Throughout his career Eric has created numerous 5 year Construction plans and drafted many initial project proposals and final project Proposals. As the sole proprietor of Facilities Planning and Consulting Services, Eric has provided consulting services for several California Community College Districts and Education Centers. Eric is a member of the Board of Directors for the Community College Facilities and the Chancellor's Office of Facilities Task Force and FUSION Committee. Eric was instrumental with the creation of the Energy and Sustainability policy that was adopted by the California Community College Board of Governors in 2008. Eric holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from California State University, Bakersfield.
