Kelly, Shirley J.
Shirley J. Kelly retired from the College of San Mateo, where she served as President and prior to that, Vice President of Instruction. After joining the Collaborative Brain Trust, she has been involved in multiple projects that have provided colleges with strategies for institutional improvement. She has had extensive experience in accreditation including working with a college that lost their accreditation, as well as college that were sanctioned by their accrediting agency. In 1985, she was appointed as Vice President of Instruction at CCSF, a position she held until 1991, when she became Vice President of Instruction at San Mateo College.
Shirley received her Doctorate of Education with emphasis in Higher Education Administration in 1983 from the University of San Francisco and received her B.A. from Mills College in Chemistry and her M.S. in Chemistry from the University of San Francisco.
